About 50 members and friends joined us for afternoon tea on Saturday 21st August in celebration of St Andrew’s 90th Anniversary. Sandwiches and home made scones and cakes were enjoyed, along with tea, coffee and squash. We were glad to welcome friends from Rose Hill and Holymoorside URCs. Alex, a long serving Elder, concluded the event with a brief overview of the history of the church. Albums of photographs of past occasions were put out to browse through. The granddaughter of one of the founder members wondered what her grandfather would have thought and decided “He would be chuffed”!

This was also a Gift Day and donations of over £800 were gratefully received for the work of the church.
